Some of our after-school clubs from today including cricket, football, active kids, sewing and ceramics
We received exciting news this afternoon when we were told that we have officially become an IQM Centre of Excellence. Miss Hogger and Miss Evans spent last year working on the Inclusion Qualitymark application with great support from the children, staff team, governors, parents/carers and local community partners. On our verification day back in the summer term, we passed with flying colours achieving a Grade 1 in every area. This special achievement recognises everything that we do to support and include our diverse and vibrant community. As the first line of the award states… “Middle Park Primary School is at the heart of a community with community in its heart.” We are very proud and a huge well done to everyone.
MIDDLE PARK FAME ACADEMY: In other exciting news – for any fans of the new crime series on BBC1 ‘Strike’ – look out in November for this little actress who will be featuring. You can’t miss that giant smile – (Although we don’t think she’ll be smiling much on screen if the storyline is anything to go by!) Well done little-legs
We’re so happy to be back learning and playing together. The classrooms are taking shape and we have some fantastic book areas popping up. Children are thinking and talking and solving problems, recording, creating and supporting one another. It’s going to be a great year!
Introducing…… JULIE WELLS – our new School Business Manager. We are very happy that Julie has joined us and she will be a face that you will all become used to in the school office. Julie is extremely experienced and is looking forward to getting to know all of you in due course. Make sure you come and say ‘hi’ and introduce yourself – and a big Middle Park welcome to Julie.
We are having so much fun in school today with our X-Factor show. Every class has learned a song which they are performing to the whole school, and many members of staff are also competing in a special lip-sync battle. Thanks to Mrs Lewis who has organised the day and apologies to our neighbours for all the loud cheering!! It’s the turn of the juniors this afternoon.
