We are having so much fun in school today with our X-Factor show. Every class has learned a song which they are performing to the whole school, and many members of staff are also competing in a special lip-sync battle. Thanks to Mrs Lewis who has organised the day and apologies to our neighbours for all the loud cheering!! It’s the turn of the juniors this afternoon.
In the words of Mrs Fenn, Year 6 have had a “FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT, AMAZING” day at Southend. They deserve it after all their hard work this year! Well done Year 6.
A big thank you from our Year 6 children to Mrs Seaton who organised a really enjoyable prom for them which took place last weekend. Mrs Seaton organised a great event which included a red carpet, popcorn machine and a photo booth. The children looked amazing and it is great for them to have this memory. Thanks Mrs Seaton!
We are so grateful to James’ dad for always sharing his fantastic photographs from school events. Here are his action shots from the KS1 sports afternoon which capture the spirit of the afternoon perfectly. Enjoy!!
Another fun and sporty time at Eltham Hill School, this time for our infant children. The Eltham Hill students really have been fantastic today.
Once again, Middle Park was recognised at the annual Partnership Awards. The school received a ‘top partner’ award; Miss Davis, Mr Lawrence and Mr Drury were recognised for their inspiring professional development days and there was an ‘exceptional achievement’ award for Mrs Adams in recognition of all that she does with and for the University. Well done Middle Park!
Year 6 had a great day at Lee Green Fire Station thinking about safety and citizenship as they get ready to head out into the world of secondary school and beyond. Year 6 are officially ready to launch!
A group of Year 6 pupils had a last minute opportunity to spend the day in Greenwich Park yesterday, having a sneak preview of some of the installations for the Greenwich and Docklands Festival. It was such a fun day. From the moon falling from the sky, to a virtual reality swing, falling down into an abyss and meeting a very special astronaut. The festival is on now until 8th July. Check out the website for details.
