Andromeda (winners of the best attendance for Autumn term!) have had the BEST day jumping at Oxygen trampoline park! Being in school everyday definitely has its perks!

Week 1 of Food Critics Club was a success! We tasted some flavours from Spain, and our verdicts were generally positive-maybe with the exception of the spinach tortilla!

Blessings in Year 2 Terpsichore Year 2 Terpsichore are a positive bunch. When asked to capture how they feel coming in to school, there were lots of reasons to be cheerful and grateful. We are excited to start clubs, we love our learning, we enjoy being with our friends. What a lovely class to be in.

On Tuesday, Year 6 took a trip up town to the BFI Southbank. Here, We got to watch lots of films about WW2, as part of a workshop where we could share our answers to some tricky questions on the mic! We then finished up the daywatching the classic- Goodnight Mr Tom. What fun!  

Year 1 have been exploring fantasy settings in English, looking at what they would hear, smell, see. We all created amazing fantasy settings in the Lego room to help us with our ideas and writing.

Year 6 have been creating sculptures based on Henry Moore’s sketches of the underground shelters during WW2. We made such we captured the sadness and suffering of civilians during the war through colour, body language and lack of facial expressions – just like Moore!
