Year 2 Terpsichore
A fabulous day for the wonderful Year 2 Terpsichore at Eltham Palace. What a historical gem we have on our doorstep! And what a spirit-lifter this sunshine is.
7pm in the nesting box – who could this big fluffball be ?? We are on the edge of our seats waiting to see whether the blue tits or the great tits make it to nesting season first.
In previous years, we have always returned after the Easter break to a box full of eggs. Best Easter eggs ever.
In FS2 Apollo, we recently watched an episode of Pink Panther, where he uses a film camera to take pictures. Intrigued by this “old fashioned” device that the children have not seen before, they asked if Miss Parody could bring one in… Low and behold! They had a good ol’ explore of it, feeling the difference in its weight and the complexity of winding the camera up and pressing a button, just to take one picture. Imagine that!
