Playtime
It has been so fun having the dress-up costumes out today and the children have created the funniest panto you’ll ever see! We really should take this on the road.
We are really getting out and about at the moment because there are soooo many exciting places on our doorstep. Last week, Year 2 jumped on a train and visited the London Aquarium which was such a wonderful day. We particularly loved the sharks, the penguins, the jellyfish and the manta rays. EXPLORE ….. RESCUE…….. PROTECT (If you know …. you know.)
Our Year 2 children who don’t necessarily speak English at home have been working together with Sabrina on language games and have started writing their own stories. On Thursday, they designed their front covers and started page one.
Speaking more than one language as a child is such a gift and creates so many exciting opportunities.
Sad day alert!!! It’s the last day for our wonderful Mrs Montgomery who is officially retiring. Our forest school queen and EYP extraordinaire!! We’re going to miss her so much. She has touched the lives of so many people and we thank her for her commitment to Middle Park, for everything she has done and for everything she is. You’re AWESOME Pat! Have the best retirement ever.
