MIDDLE PARK BREAKFAST CLUB

We are offering all children from Reception to Year 6 a free breakfast club each day during term time being held at the Middle Park Community Centre (MPCC).

Here is some information

• The breakfast club is available every school day from 08.10am to 08.40pm

• The children will be offered a nutritious healthy balanced hot/cold breakfast each day which includes cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurts, porridge, plus special menu days.

• Once your child has eaten their breakfast there will be time for them to chat to their friends, play games, read, finish homework.

• Middle Park Community Centre staff will walk all children up to school for their 08.45am start

• Parents/carers can only book their child’s sessions using the ParentPay app (no sessions can be booked by the school office or MPCC) so if you need to get your log in for the ParentPay app please do so as a matter of urgency. To find the bookings it is under the payer dashboard, select your child, and then clubs section. Click on each day you wish to book.

• If your child is attending any sessions by signing up you are giving permission for the school to provide any medical, SEN and dietary requirements to MPCC

• Sessions must be booked in advance. All bookings for the following week must be made by the previous Wednesday at 3pm.

• If your child already attends the MPCC Breakfast Club arriving earlier than 08.10am then you must still book your child onto the school sessions so that you receive a reduced rate on the earlier drop off session charge that you pay directly to the MPCC

• If your child does not attend their sessions booked then they may not be able to book in for the following weeks sessions (unless they are ill from school).

• Breakfast Club sessions will start on Monday 13^th April 2026

Mysterious Egg and Nest appear in the front playground There were some strange goings-on in school last week when a curious nest with a random selection of eggs appeared on top of the sandpit. The children had some very imaginative explanations for what may have happened and what might happen next. We couldn’t be completely sure whether the eggs belonged to a bird or maybe even a reptile. Perhaps our friends in Middle Lark were reaching out to us again?? Who knows. 

It has been fun seeing all the different parts of the water cycle in abundance this week! The children were excited to visibly see the play equipment and then we all watched it fall back down from the sky relentlessly!

Well done to our super-cool Tech Team who showed some of our governors all the different ways that we use assistive technology in school to support our learning and wellbeing. Governors really enjoyed seeing you in action and hearing all about it.

We had a fun christmas jumper day and very much enjoyed our delicious christmas lunch. Huge thanks to Hannah and her team for feeding us all year round.

What an incredible day year 3 had! We met a cave man called Owl who taught us all about the Stone Age! The children got to explore artifacts, bones, make cave paintings and even tried their hands at archery! What a fun filled day!

Year 3 Chimera have created a soundscape poem. They went on a sensory walk around the school, Keeping their ears out for different sounds that they could describe using onomatopoeia words. They are super proud of their finished poem.

Sewing Club are very proud of their cushions-with-pockets creations. Pockets just improve eveything dont they??
