Miss A would HIGHLY recommend The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher, a magical adventure about a little boy called William Trundle and a dinosaur called the Christmasaurus. It’s a favourite in my house and we re-read it every December to get ourselves in the festive mood. It’s about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves, flying reindeer, music and magic. What more could you want?? There is also a Christmasaurus soundtrack CD which is very silly but if you spot me singing along to myself in my car in December that’s probably what I’m listening to. (Because I’m so cool!)

Thank you so much to Emma and her fantastic team for the delicious Christmas lunch today. It was great to all be together and a good time to say thank you and appreciate all the delicious food that we get in school. Ho! Ho! Ho! #happytimes

Miss Eccleston recommends this fabulous book about a bear who wants his …… you guessed it, his hat back! Does he get it back? What lengths will he go to to get his hat back? Read this brilliant book to find out.

A HUGE thank you to Caroline for giving our children the opportunity to participate in the Eltham Lights Up parade this evening. It was great to see so many children and families joining in this wonderful local community event.

BOOK RECOMMENDATION – Angie’s favourite book to read with her children is a Julia Donaldson classic! This fun tale involves a lady who thinks her house is ‘a squash and a squeeze’ and who takes some advice from a wise old man. We guarantee you’ll love it.

The teaching of mathematics has changed so much over recent years. We are very lucky to have a number of Maths specialists on the staff including Mrs Findley who specialises in the Singapore Bar Method. Mrs Findley is currently providing training for our support staff. We are NOT afraid to be in the pit of despair ourselves sometimes! (In fact, we really enjoy it.) Teresa is such a good girl putting her hand up.
