Come and join in the fun!!! We love books and stories and we are excited to celebrate all our favourite characters today. We’ll try to get around and capture some more photos later – but what a great start!

“Six foot two, eyes of blue, Billy Bonds is after you.” It’s a big day for our favourite Middle Park alumni and great friend to our school, Billy Bonds, who has a stand at the Olympic Stadium named after him this afternoon. #legend

We received an exciting piece of post this morning from Mr Peabody and the Library of Everything. Mr Peabody wants our stories to fill up the empty shelf and any that are approved will receive a golden Library card. He also sent us a special map of the world so we can track the Library as it travels around.

Miss K recommends this book that I’m sure we’re all familiar with. This classic is a fun read for the whole family. ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.

We made some more new friends this week when we welcomed 21 Chinese students in to school to see what our similarities are differences are. Our children always make them feel so welcome and we love learning about life in China and how different it is for them. Good times.
