Learning walk
A quick learning walk around the school this afternoon shows the wide variety of activities and learning that is taking place. We have Year 1 programming beebots and solving puzzles, FS2 getting active and making their hearts beat faster, music scales and story writing in Year 3, rugby, dance, creating a Gruffalo house using Lego, close observational drawing and a ‘drop-everything-and-read’ session. Wonderful kids, wonderful adults
School Council visit the Town Hall
School Council had a fantastic morning when Miss Hogger and Claire took them to the Town Hall to meet our great friend, the Mayor of Greenwich Christine May. The children got to sit in the council chambers and had a brilliant debate about whether we should have more school holidays!

The Eltham Arts Wall exhibition has opened today at the SE9 Container Gallery. Contributions from Middle Park children include the bricks that Yr 6 Sewing Club created as well as an entire wall dedicated to the wall planters made by Ceramics Club. The exhibition is open to the public for the next 3 Saturdays (29/9, 6/10 and 13/10) from 10am to 4pm
Ferdi Class
one of our favourite times of the day. Thanks to Emma and her great team for keeping us so well fed.
New climbing equipment
Thanks to monies raised by parents at the Enrichment Evening and a successful bid made by Mrs Wells, we have been able to purchase some new climbing equipment for the playground. Year 5 Nergui and Year 2 Tarzan were the first two classes to try it out this morning. We think it gets a thumbs-up!!
Introducing Ferdi Class
Introducing Ferdi Class!! What used to be our FS1 classroom has now been converted into a really exciting class which has been named Ferdi. Miss Evans and Miss Hogger have organised the room to support children each morning with intensive English and Mathematics, and Mrs Plume and Teresa will be supporting different children in the afternoon through Nurture. We are so excited about the potential that this new provision is going to bring to our school and we will of course keep you updated as it develops.
It’s a busy buzzy afternoon of learning
