Miss K recommends this book that I’m sure we’re all familiar with. This classic is a fun read for the whole family. ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.

We made some more new friends this week when we welcomed 21 Chinese students in to school to see what our similarities are differences are. Our children always make them feel so welcome and we love learning about life in China and how different it is for them. Good times.

Miss A would HIGHLY recommend The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher, a magical adventure about a little boy called William Trundle and a dinosaur called the Christmasaurus. It’s a favourite in my house and we re-read it every December to get ourselves in the festive mood. It’s about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves, flying reindeer, music and magic. What more could you want?? There is also a Christmasaurus soundtrack CD which is very silly but if you spot me singing along to myself in my car in December that’s probably what I’m listening to. (Because I’m so cool!)

Thank you so much to Emma and her fantastic team for the delicious Christmas lunch today. It was great to all be together and a good time to say thank you and appreciate all the delicious food that we get in school. Ho! Ho! Ho! #happytimes
