The challenge

We had a bit of fun this week when Miss Best and Mr Lawrence went head-to-head in our own school version of ‘Changing Rooms.’ The challenge was to design two multi-purpose rooms, The Zone (Miss Best) and the Friendship Room (Mr Lawrence.) They had the same budget, the same time and the same access to Brian (although Miss Best did manage to nab him at the last minute.) The teaching staff cast their votes and scored each room for its design, functionality and aesthetics.

January 14, 2022

A HUGE well done to all the children and families who participated in the holiday project, visited the Queen’s House and viewed the painting ‘Ship of Fools’ by Kehinde Wiley. The quality of the learning has been exceptional and we have really enjoyed seeing what the children have produced and speaking with them of their thoughts and feelings about the painting and its context. We are so impressed with all their ideas and insights.

Our children are extremely settled in school and making super progress in their learning, well done everyone.

Rebecca Cousins
December 9, 2021

We are getting ready for next Spring and hoping to attract some more nesting birds. You may remember that we had robins nesting in our air conditioning unit earlier this year. We just had the unit serviced and you can see what the birds had used to create a lovely home for their babies. Our plan is to block off the unit and provide an alternative which will hopefully attract them in 2022. We’ll keep you posted as our plans develop.
