It was a case of non-stop smiles this morning when some of our children went for a judo taster session at Thomas Tallis. Judo is a great cardio exercise as well as being muscle building – and as you can see, great fun aswell! We really appreciated this great opportunity.

Year 6

We are so fortunate to have wonderful cover supervisors in school who really love teaching classes in a range of subjects. In Year 6 this term, Cher and Aretha (more commonly known as Mrs Willoughby and Karen) have been teaching music. It’s true what they say – groove is in the heart.

What a glorious day for a cross country competition! We are so proud of all our children who competed brilliantly at Avery Hill Park this afternoon.

We have talked a lot recently about what makes a Middle Parker. All our children were cheering on everyone from every school. HARMONY even stopped while running to help a child from another school who had fallen over, picking her up and making sure she was ok. THAT’S the Middle Park way.

So proud of you all.

Year 6 Andromeda have been studying David Hockney in Art. His landscape pieces inspired us to create our own sketches that we have turned into watercolour paintings and digital art.
