What a busy day we have had in school today. We have had our first School Council meeting and they are looking forward to sharing their ideas to keep our school a wonderful place to be. Year 1 Acanthis class have been busy painting faces and our nursery children have been singing and dancing to head, shoulders, knees and toes.
It has been a busy couple of days at Middle Park Primary school. Some of our Year 6 children have been working hard and presenting their speeches for the Head boy / girl position. This is not an easy thing, as the panel is made up of a number of staff and a number of children. For most candidates, they had to deliver their speech to an audience of 12 people. They were also asked lots of questions that had to be answered ‘on the spot’. Each and every one of the candidates tried their hardest and were passionate about their vision. We will announce the successful candidates in the newsletter on Monday. In the meantime, let us celebrate just how amazing our Year 6 children are. We are so PROUD of each and every one of them.
MIDDLE PARK BREAKFAST CLUB
We are offering all children from Reception to Year 6 a free breakfast club each day during term time being held at the Middle Park Community Centre (MPCC).

Mysterious Egg and Nest appear in the front playground There were some strange goings-on in school last week when a curious nest with a random selection of eggs appeared on top of the sandpit. The children had some very imaginative explanations for what may have happened and what might happen next. We couldn’t be completely sure whether the eggs belonged to a bird or maybe even a reptile. Perhaps our friends in Middle Lark were reaching out to us again?? Who knows.
