Year 6 have spent the morning at the Steam Museum where they have enjoyed a workshop about World War II. This has included looking at artefacts, dressing up and immersing themselves in the 1940s.

A beautiful sunny day in Liddington and a very happy bunch of Year 6 children and staff. Everyone is well. They are working together, facing fears and supporting one another. A wonderful day so far.

A chilly evening but we’re all wrapped up and enjoying lots of team-building games. It’s been a long and exciting day for Year 6.

And they’re off!!! Our wonderful Year 6 are on their way to their Year 6 residential. Have the best time.

Year 6 have been experimenting with one-point perspective in art. Do you think their paintings have depth?

One-point perspective is one way of creating a 3-D effect in a painting and was particularly celebrated in Western art.
