VERY excited to welcome Scout the reading dog in to school this morning. Year 4 are looking forward to sharing a story or two with that lovely little snout.
Look what we got! A super-cool flag to celebrate achieving the Eco-Schools Award for everything we do to encourage nature and to be as sustainable as possible. Thanks Miss Bennett and our Eco Council. We are going to get a proper flag pole and fly our flag high!
“Sensational…exceptional.. magical… upbeat… surprising … spazz-azz,” our Year 6 children are making up words to express how much they enjoyed watching Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre. The children were really blown away by the show and huge thanks to the theatre staff for looking after us so well. We really are revolting children!
Yesterday, our Head Girl, Head Boy and their deputies came to introduce themselves to our school governors. They explained how excited they are to have been selected and how determined they are to be the very best role models this year. We can’t wait to see them all in action and to watch their leadership skills grow. Congratulations!
Athena Class have been reading the story ‘Orion and the Dark’ in their English lessons. They have been describing the dark in sentences and they used collage materials to create some dark inspired artwork. They listened to spooky music to help get their creative juices flowing.
