It has been so wonderful to start welcoming more parents and carers back into school. This morning, Miss Evans and Janice from STEPs delivered a workshop breaking down the ways children learn to read and giving helpful advice about how we can support our children and some takeaway resources to help parents on their way.
Year 6 Skellig have enhanced their love of reading by creating their own Starbucks corner. (Other coffee shops are available.) It makes that special time spent with a book, magazine or newspaper even more mindful and relaxing.

Today has been a special day as we marked armistice day through a two minute silence, workshops in class and by wearing red to raise money for the Royal British Legion. This little man brought in a very special photograph of his great, great grandfather which means such a lot to him. We will remember them.
