Bombing of our school in the 1940s.

We have recently been trying to track down some more detail about the bombing of our school in the 1940s. A News Shopper article from the 1990s talks of a doodlebug hit in 1943, but looking at the Bomb Census it seems that the Middle Park and Sutcliffe ward also took a high number of hits (114) between 1940 and 1941. Our current meeting room did originally have two floors above it before the blast.
