A STEM inspired assembly

The rain fell and the wind blew on our houses!! Miss Best inspired children and teachers in some hands-on engineering in assembly this week. Groups were challenged to design and build the perfect house for some little pigs using specific building materials. In addition, she explored what it means to be an engineer and the amazing improvements engineers make to our everyday lives. Which of our mini engineers built the house that stayed standing???
