Year 6 Perseus had the most amazing day at St Paul’s It was full of history, architecture and heights! What a special place for the children to visit and learn all about one their most favourite topics: WW2!
For the final Science club, we made ice cream from scratch using milk, salt, ice, vanilla, cream, sugar and some shaking power! How delicious! It is never too cold for ice cream!
Mrs Plume worked with a group of children to create this beautiful wreath that willl be displayed at Eltham Palace over the Christmas period. The children went foraging and worked towards the design of a heron. We love it!
Hallo! It’s Holland calling! Chimera are very lucky to be pairing up with a school in Holland. Our first call went really well and we can’t wait to find out more!
In Year 5 Gaea class we have been focusing on ‘Light’. We have looked at how shadows are formed from a light source. The children have had fun experimenting in different ways, for example shining a torch on objects that are: opaque, transparent and translucent. With their findings, they created puppets to show how shadows are formed. They had fun linking their puppet shows to familiar stories, especially High Rise Mystery; our class book. Enjoy!
Children in year 2 had an unforgettable day visiting the London Aquarium this week. They were wowed by all the incredible sea life they saw, Sharks swimming under our feet, penguins greeting us through the glass and the incredible turtles putting on a show for us were a few of our favourites.
We are so pleased to have 4 children representing MPPS as Travel Ambassadors from year 5. They are so grateful to be at the TFL Ambassadors Annual Convention, learning lots about school travel. The day has started off very well!
