CAFC – The next generation

We welcomed our lovely friend Steve into school this afternoon with a group of young athletes currently training to become professional footballers at the Charlton Athletic Academy. They came to talk to Year 4 about the importance of hard work, being confident, driven and focused. This was their advice to us:
1. Be consistent in all areas (school, home, hobbies)
2. Be dedicated (if you love it, stick with it even when it gets tough)
3. Work hard. (there will always be someone better than you so keep working to be your best)
4. It’s never too late to find your passion
