Mrs Plume worked with a group of children to create this beautiful wreath that willl be displayed at Eltham Palace over the Christmas period. The children went foraging and worked towards the design of a heron. We love it!
Well done to the children who enjoyed a taster Judo session at Thomas Tallis School. They absolutely loved the session and really faced their fears. You have to get stuck in when it comes to Judo!
Well done to all the children who competed at Cross Country this week and represented the school. They all worked extremely hard and were definitely tired afterwards! Shout out to Isadora who finished 15th out of almost 100 children.
Some of our children are working with Mrs Plume to create a special festive wreath that will be displayed at Eltham Palace this Christmas. They have come up with the theme of ‘foraging,’ and spent time at the Tarn this week collecting some natural resources that they will be using. We will let you know when the wreath is on display and how you can see it.
Meet the Eco team – they will be reminding their teachers about recycling, switching off lights and thinking about the energy we use in school and how we can make savings and look after our planet.
Harvest Festival Thanks to all our families for the generous donations to this year’s harvest festival. We have been celebrating all week in school and giving thanks for what we have. We will make sure that donations go to those in need and we know they will make a difference.
After-school clubs Our children are really enjoying their after-school clubs this term and we’re grateful to the teaching and support staff who are offering such a unique combination of opportunities. Who knew that making friendship bracelets would become the new school trend in 2025?
Congratulations to our star pupil who was a awarded a special ‘Do the Right Thing’ award at the Town Hall on Friday evening. He has been recognised for his resilience and courage and we are all very proud of him.
