Dinners
Absolutely delicious chicken tikka masala today, or macaroni cheese, tomato pasta, jacket spuds, freshly baked bread and all the lovely trimmings and extras. It’s a thumbs up from us! Thanks Emma and her team.
We really enjoyed this week’s author visit from Banji Alexander who came and spoke with the children about pursuing their dreams and his journey from primary school teacher to author. We love making new friends and the children had some really thoughtful questions and comments. Follow your dreams everyone!
Wild Science visited the Nursery on Tuesday 16th November. The children were introduced to Chilli the chinchilla, Shikari the ball python, Fluffy the tarantula, Master Mantas the preying mantas, Froaky the tree frog, Frank the cockroach and Bob the Giant African land snail. The children learnt some interesting facts about each of the creatures… For example, did you know that the shell of an adult African land snail is so hard it can’t even be broken by a car tyre! The children were given the opportunity to hold or stroke all of the creatures. They behaved beautifully. Well done Pegasus class!
Apparently, pirates used to soak their letters in tea before they sent them. Old Skool. #historydetectives
Year 5 have had the most fantastic time watching The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. In their words ….. “Oh my gosh absolutely amazing…. Cast…. Singing …dancing we LOVED IT!!”
They caught their train and are due back to Mottingham at 5.45pm. We expect them back at school by around 6pm.
