Science Club
Mr Shilton always has such brilliant ideas. Children in Science Club are designing and creating their own bird nests using clay and what they’ve collected in their little birdie beaks. Let’s hope the Haribo wrapper doesn’t work! #dontlitterkids
Book of the week
This week’s book recommendation come from Miss Best. Miss Best is fascinated by the first and second world wars. Alfie’s father has gone off to fight in the war and is yet to return. One day, Alfie finds out exactly where his father is and he is shocked to discover what has happened to him. ‘Stay where you are & then leave,’ by John Boyne.

School Council
Our School Council are so great. They met again this morning and have decided to organise a bullying prevention week in November which they are going to name ‘Friendship Week.’ We really think that grown-up politicians could learn a lot from our little ambassadors. #thefutureisbright

Pupil Teaching and Learning Team
Our Pupil Teaching and Learning Team have been monitoring classrooms this week, looking at learning books and talking to other children about what helps them to learn. They provide feedback to teachers and tell them what they think they are doing well and what they might do better. Our children are very strict!
