Great news. Today our mixed cricket team headed off to Charlton Park to play in the Greenwich Borough tournament. And guess what??…. WE WON!!!! Out of 24 teams our team were unstoppable and they stormed through to the final and won the tournament overall. This now means that Middle Park will represent Greenwich in the Kent finals. The children were focussed and determined and we are bursting with pride. Well done Middle Park!

Our assemblies this half term are about all the subjects of the curriculum. Today, Miss Best talked about why she thinks Design and Technology is the best subject of them all. She even held a competition to see which team could design and make the most balanced packed lunch. Angie and Teresa were the judges, and the winning team were: Miss Eccleston and Eric

A big thank you to Mrs Adams and Diane for taking them and giving them this opportunity.

we had our Dyslexia Friendly verification day and the good news is that we have officially been awarded Dyslexia Friendly status. Two verifyers were in school all day where they observed two lessons and several interventions, they met with teaching staff, support staff, children, governors and parents as well as interviewing leaders. They saw outstanding teaching, fantastic resources, a great deal of expertise and spoke with children who were proud to be dyslexic and could talk confidently about the way that they learn and how they are supported in school. It was a fantastic team effort and we are all very proud. And the message that came through strongest from children, staff and parents?? Miss Evans is AMAZING!! And so say all of us. Well done everyone.

Well done to all our wonderful Year 6 children who tackled their SATs this week with determination and positivity. Special well done also to the children who have been coming in early all year to benefit from morning booster classes. Great job guys – we’re proud of you all.

Miss Turner is having a great day at St Paul’s Academy who are holding a very special sports festival today. Our Middle Park team are doing brilliantly – we are at the top of the golf leader board and the children are really encouraging and motivating each other. Well done Team MPPS!
