Dyslexia Friendly verification
we had our Dyslexia Friendly verification day and the good news is that we have officially been awarded Dyslexia Friendly status. Two verifyers were in school all day where they observed two lessons and several interventions, they met with teaching staff, support staff, children, governors and parents as well as interviewing leaders. They saw outstanding teaching, fantastic resources, a great deal of expertise and spoke with children who were proud to be dyslexic and could talk confidently about the way that they learn and how they are supported in school. It was a fantastic team effort and we are all very proud. And the message that came through strongest from children, staff and parents?? Miss Evans is AMAZING!! And so say all of us. Well done everyone.
