Globe Theatre

Year 4 had a wonderful time at The Globe Theatre. The children demonstrated how knowledgeable they are about the play Macbeth. They had a guided tour of the theatre, noticing that the stage was set for that evening’s performance of Macbeth. They saw trap doors in the floor and ceiling and found out that in Elizabethan times the cost of a ticket was 1p. During the workshop the children played games to get them into character as Macbeth or the witches.
