Goldfinches

Since our blue tits disappeared everybody’s new favourite visitors have become the goldfinches. They definitely managed to fledge locally as we have enjoyed many juveniles having a feed-up with their parents. If you would like to attract some to your garden – try putting nyjer seeds out. They are a firm favourite with our colourful school visitors.
