Susie Rodgers

We were thrilled this afternoon to meet a genuine hero when Paralympic gold medal winner Susie Rodgers came in to meet us, to tell us about her achievements and to show us her incredible gold medal (which was surprisingly heavy!) Susie told us that she felt ‘shocked and happy’ when she realised she had come first and won the gold medal. The children burst into applause when they saw her medal. What an inspiration and a reminder that if we are determined and resilient we can achieve our dreams too.
