The Globe Theatre

What an amazing day Year 4 had at The Globe Theatre, we had a tour of the theatre and learned some of secrets of the world of Shakespeare including what some of the actors do now to perform as authentic Shakespearean thespians. From learning that the Globe is the only thatched roof in London to discovering the secrets of the trap doors, not a moment was missed! The highlight was demonstrating our learning around Twelfth Night with an actors’ workshop, putting our performance skills to the test. As always, the children were a credit to Middle Park!
