Year 1 Acanthis

Year 1 Acanthis were so excited when Jean brought her tortoise in to meet them. The children were very gentle with tortie and made close and careful observations that helped them to categorise him and think about whether he might be a herbivore, omnivore or carnivore. We think if tortie was a carnivorous predator he might end up feeling quite hungry.
