Year 5 visit Leeds Castle

What a fantastic day Year 5 have had. They learned about the history of Britain from Neanderthals to the Anglo Saxons. The children got to dress up and role play what life must have been like during these different times. They even got to march around the grounds like Roman soldiers shouting ‘sinister…dexter…’ (which is left, right in Latin – nothing to do with Nancy!) An extremely enjoyable day topped off by getting lost in the maze! Well done Year 5.
